Jonathan Kim graduated from UMBC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2010. He then completed Montgomery College’s physical therapist assistant program with honors in the spring of 2013.
Jonathan first joined the Bethesda M.O.S staff as a physical therapist aide in the summer of 2010 and is now working at both Germantown and Bethesda clinics as a staff PTA. He is currently studying to earn his CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) and plans to earn his master’s degree in acupuncture. Jonathan is seeking to specialize in working with overhead throwing athletes and upper extremity injuries while developing proficiency in all generalized fields of orthopedic sports physical therapy.
He is highly involved as a leader with his young adult ministry at church and enjoys circuit training, Olympic lifting, playing sports such as tennis, baseball, basketball, and football, sharpening his culinary skills, and watching his hometown teams, especially the Washington Nationals.
