Patty attended Russell Sage College in Troy, New York, where she graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2003. While in college, she also worked on her athletic training certification, primarily with the University at Albany Football program. She was awarded her Athletic Training Certification from the National Board of Certification in 2003 and received her license by the state in 2011 with the new Maryland standards. In 2012, she returned to school to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and graduated from Shenandoah University in 2013. Patty continued her education at Drexel University from 2014 through 2015, graduating with a certification in Advanced Practice in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation. In 2016 she earned
her credentials as a certified hand therapist (CHT).
Patty is a member of the APTA, with membership in the Orthopedic and
Hand sections. She enjoys distance running, rock climbing, and has
studied many years in tae kwon do, both ITF and WTF style. Outside of
work she spends time with Sports Performance Institute to help keep our
local athletes healthy and out of the clinic if possible. She is a
certified running coach through both the Road Runners Club of America
and USA Track and Field.
